John is a land use economist whose team (in particular G2G PhD student Jess Nelson) is exploring the financial and environmental implications of strategically integrated perennial vegetation at watershed scales relative to: potential biomass production, diversified revenue for landowners, multi-scale ecosystem outcomes, and overall supplyshed dynamics. State of the art Geo-spatial and financial modeling tools such as the Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF) and the Financial and Nutrient Reduction Tool (FiNRT; "fine art") are featured in this work.
