Sebastian Villarino is a Doctor in Agrarian Sciences from the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMdP), Argentina. His background is in soil biogeochemistry, focused on soil organic matter dynamics in agricultural systems. In the Grass2Gas project, he is studying how coupling agricultural production and processing of biomass by using anaerobic digestion technology on farms could improve resource use efficiency and restore soil organic matter contents. His research is expected to contribute to Goal 2.
