In June 2020, C-CHANGE was awarded a Sustainable Agricultural Systems program grant from the United States Department of Agriculture National Institute for Food and Agriculture. The grant expands C-CHANGE to a multi-institutional consortium that includes:
- Iowa State University C-CHANGE (ISU),
- Penn State University Institutes of Energy and the Environment (PSU),
- Roeslein Alternative Energy (RAE),
- FDCE Inc., and
- USDA-ARS National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment (NLAE).
The team will advance a new biobased value chain based on the production of renewable natural gas and associated bioproducts through the anaerobic digestion of diverse feedstocks.
